I grew up in a household that was constantly focused on weight loss and dieting. Every day I got a first hand look at how unhealthy lifestyle and weight could affect every facet of someone’s life as well as their family. However, my life really changed in the summer of 2006 when my Father had a heart attack which required triple bypass surgery. Thankfully, he survived the surgery, but hearing that he almost didn’t make it through the night triggered a change in me.
Upon returning to school in the Fall I immediately changed my major to Health Promotion, altered my lifestyle, and lost 30 pounds the next year. I made it my mission to learn everything I could about sustainable weight loss, proper exercise, and lifestyle change in order to help other people who were in the same position as my family members. The more people I was able to help, the more passionate I became and the more I realized how life changing that transforming your health could be. Many years later that passion also led me to attain a Master’s Degree along with over 10,000 hours helping clients one-one-one to achieve their health goals.
The joy that I have gotten from helping people to change their lives is what led me to start Masters Health Coaching. Our Coaches and I understand how hard weight loss and lifestyle change can be, how confusing the information can be, and how frustrating it is emotionally to have a setback. It is my promise to you that we will treat you like family and we will never stop working to give you the tools and support you need to achieve the Healthy and Sustainable Results that you deserve.
